Danakosha Ling is a Buddhist center founded by Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche. We offer courses, group- and individual practice and other events for those wishing to learn the authentic Dharma handed down from the rich Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.

Danakosha Ling Buddhist Center

A beautiful and traditional Buddhist center in Jokioinen, the mid-point of the three major cities in south-western Finland.

We emphasize being an authenthic Buddhist center for study and practice for students from all over the world, particularly in northern Europe.

We offer summer courses and annual retreats, such as traditional Drubchen retreats, international inter-faith conferances as well as organize visits by esteemed masters of the lineage. In addition we have regular events suitable for both new and senior practitioners.

Our mission at Danakosha Ling

We are dedicated to make the Buddhist teachings available in Scandinavia, Europe and the world in general. Danakosha Ling was founded by Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche who is living permanently in Finland since many years.

It is due to his great kindness, as well as the hard work and dedication of our Sangha members and friends that Finland now has an authentic Dharma Center where beginners and seasoned practitioners can deepen their understanding and realization of Buddha’s precious teachings.

Danakosha Ling is a Dharma community in the lineage and teaching tradition of the Ngagyur Nyingma or Nyingma Early Translation School of Tibetan Buddhism.

Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche

Rinpoche is the founder and spiritual guide of the Danakosha Dharma community. He has his residence at Danakosha Ling when he’s not travelling and giving teachings to devoted students around the world.

Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche was born in 1975 as a son of Venerable Lama Thubten Kalsang and Yongdu Wangmo, and he was recognized by H.H. Mindrolling Trichen Rinpoche as the 3rd reincarnation of Drupwang Rogza Sonam Palge Rinpoche.

He studied in the college of Mindrolling Monastery, and graduated as a certificated sutric and tantric holder of teachings. His great kindness and generosity of teachings is truly appreciated by his students.
