Celebration of Lhabab Duchen
After his enlightenment, Buddha Shakyamuni travelled to the Heaven of the Thirty-Three, where gave teachings to his mother as well as to the gods of the Desire Realm. He descended back to earth on the 22nd day of the 9th month, performing many miracles, an occasion marked each year on Lhabab Duchen.
On November 3rdth, 4th, and 5th, to celebrate and commemorate this event, Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche will lead a great Tara practice and a detailed offering of mandala, fruits, lamps and ritual offerings.
The event will take place in Danakosha Ling, Jokioinen, Finland, as well as internationally via zoom. The event will be free of charge. Everyone can contribute. Read more about donations here. If you wish to stay at Danakosha Ling during the event, the usual rates will apply.
