Guru Rinpoche tsog (local participation only)

Guru Rinpoche Tsog will be held on Friday, December the 2th at 6pm Finnish time locally at Danakosha Ling, Everyone is welcome to participate. Please note this event is not attendable by Zoom this time.

According to Tantric teachings the highest method of the accumulation of merit and purification is called Tsokhor. The meaning of Tsokhor is the gathering of Deities, Sacred Substances, Dakas, and Dakinis, and Vajra Brothers and Sisters. Tsokhor includes all of the essential aspects of tantric practice. Particularly the 10th day of the Waxing moon and the 10th day of the Waning moon is the special time for the appearance of Guru Rinpoche and consort Yeshe Tsogyal. Moreover, calling Guru Rinpoche and Yeshe Tsogyal on these days is particularly effective for us to develop a connection with Guru Rinpoche throughout our lives. For vajrayana practitioners this is necessary to do at least twice a month.

Question: Is there a difference between Guru Rinpoche and Dakini Day?
Answer: Both of them appear inseparably on each day and we visualize them as being nondual so there is no distinction between these two days.
