Guru Rinpoche Tsog
Welcome to the Guru Rinpoche Tsog at Danakosha Ling.
According to Tantric teachings the highest method of the accumulation of merit and purification is called Tsokhor. The meaning of Tsokhor is the gathering of Deities, Sacred Substances, Dakas, and Dakinis, and Vajra Brothers and Sisters. Tsokhor includes all of the essential aspects of tantric practice. Particularly the 10th day of the Waxing moon and the 10th day of the Waning moon is the special time for the appearance of Guru Rinpoche and consort Yeshe Tsogyal. Moreover, calling Guru Rinpoche and Yeshe Tsogyal on these days is particularly effective for us to develop a connection with Guru Rinpoche throughout our lives. For vajrayana practitioners this is necessary to do at least twice a month.
If the Tsog will be livestreamed, a link will be posted via Facebook or WhatsApp a couple days before the event. Follow Danakosha´s events our Facebook page
On Saturday/Sunday the practice starts at 4:00 pm Finish time.
Q: Do we use the ‘Shower of Blessings’ Tsok Text on both Dakini Day and Guru Rinpoche Day?
A: Yes, this text is suitable for both days since the base of visualization is the indivisible Guru Rinpoche and Dakini.
