Saga Dawa Teaching “Vajrayana Buddhism and Everyday Life”

The Saga Dawa Festival at Danakosha Ling is upcoming, and you are invited to join us at this very special event from Thursday 23rd May to Sunday 26th May 2024. Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche will give a teaching titled Vajrayana Buddhism and Everyday Life: Integrating the ancient practices of Guru Padmasambhava. Guru Rinpoche also known as Padmasambhava or the Lotus-Born, was the central yogi to establish Buddhadharma in Tibet during the reign of King Trisong Detsen (742-797AD). In this talk, Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche will give a teaching on the powerful practical importance of Guru Rinpoche’s lessons in a way that is relevant to everyone living in the modern world. Beginners are especially invited to join in this teaching event as it should help provide down to earth practices that everyone can use and apply.

Schedule

Morning teaching: 9:00-11:30
Lunch break: 11:30 – 15:00
Afternoon teaching: 15-17

Participation

The event cost is 170 €, or 130 € for Danakosha members, students, and the unemployed.

Staying in a dorm room at Danakosha Ling is 32 € / night, or 24 € / night for members, students, and the unemployed.

15€ as daily meal charge.

It will be possible to join by Zoom. A link will be sent to you prior to the event starting.

Tulku Dakpa Rinpoche will also give refuge vows upon request. Please let us know beforehand if you do.
